No Fail Chili

2 cans of kidney beans
2 cans of stewed tomatoes
1 lb of ground beef
chili powder to taste

Brown the meat in a med/large pot.  Once meat is browned, add the kidney beans and stewed tomatoes.  Turn stove down to low/med temp and let simmer.  Stir once in a while.  I will start the chili around 3ish if we want to eat by 5:30.  About half way through add chili powder to taste and stir.  Turn stove on lowest setting and keep stirring once in a while.

We like to add some cheese and crackers to ours.  The chili will feed us two nights, and feeds about 6-10 bowls.  This chili keeps well in the freezer too!  We always have some on hand during football season.  :)

Enjoy!

Dirt

1 instant choc. pudding (4 serving size)

1 tub cool whip @ room temp

2 cups milk

20 oreo cookies

gummy worms

clear cups

First whisk the pudding and milk together for 2 min. Let it stand 5 min. While you wait, take 20 oreos and crush them up. (I had Emily help with this part. She loved using the rolling pin and crushing with her hands!) After the 5 min, add the cool whip to the pudding. Take 1/3 cup of the crushed oreos and add that to the pudding. Scoop 1/2 cup of pudding into each cup. Top with oreos and gummy worm. I made 8 servings, but could have made 10.
