Back to school
I've been reading and looking at the pictures people are posting about their little ones going back to school. Our oldest will be starting preschool in a few weeks. It's hard to believe that she's big enough and ready to take this next step in her little life. There really isn't a whole lot to get ready for preschool. I took her school shoe shopping and let her pick out 2 pairs of shoes. A pair of tennis shoes (pink and white) and a dress pair (nothing but pink sparkles all over!). She's so excited to wear them. She's not really ready for school clothes shopping. We have added some needed pieces, but she'll just be playing and hasn't really hit a big growth spurt. (As I'm saying this, I'm sure she will now.) We've talked about going to school and having friends. She already has her birthday party planed and is just ever so excited about the whole thing.

It's such a bittersweet time.. Sending your baby to school. My 2 year old started on the 9th to early preschool and my 4 year old started preschool this year. It is the very first time they've been away from me, and I've had a hard time accepting that they're both in school, but I know that it's for the best for them. They're getting a head start on their education and I'm all for that!

I'm going to miss her at music class. :-( But I'm so anxious to hear how she likes it because we will almost definitely be sending our munchkin to the same place next year.
